Update 8 PM PDT- New information is coming out, maybe this week, certainly next week about communications between Ms. Tweedy and Breitbart, Sinclair along with emails and her involvement in smears. It wasn’t accidental that Roger Stone knew about this. Al Franken, given his decency, never stood a chance. Decent people are more easily taken down as they would not be inclined engage in duplicitous schemes that might ruin a person’s life. The public is being manipulated and others have come to the conclusions that this is not organic as I shared with you in my original post. Stay tuned. Out. -Mystic54
Does anyone think it’s coincidental that there is a rash of sexual impropriety allegations floating around? Anyone see a pattern that Democratic judiciary committee members who consistently make trouble for Republicans are the ones being identified? That “liberal Hollywood” and now the media with Charlie Rose are being outed it what looks like a coordinated strike? Is it odd that Leanne Tweedy is going to work for Sinclair and has worked on Fox? This is someone who has a history of groping in skits with her male performers on stage at USO events. Not someone who appears to have her virtue easily bruised based on her humping and ass grabbing of another male USO performer on YouTube.
It looks like the Republicans have found a reliable way to distract us from a proposed tax bill so heinous that if the public really understood what was about to happen to them they would probably be marching in the streets. The public doesn’t fully understand because the media is now spending 24/7 on stories about groping allegations. Sex sells like nothing else. Taxes, climate change and Russia don’t stand a chance. Meanwhile some of the most extraordinarily bad things we have ever faced as a nation are brewing. The kinds of things that can take a Republic and a planet down. It’s not hyperbole to say that we are on the precipice of disaster on multiple fronts. I have never said or thought this before in my 63 years on the planet. We are at a crossroads. Some of this won’t be reversible.
I am a “feminist”, my partner says I’m more militant than she is. I am glad sexual assault is getting addressed. I think it’s mistake however to lump Al Fraken in with Roy Moore as the press is doing in their never ending false equivalence narrative. If we don’t push back at some point, express a need for perspective and differentiation between serious sexual predation and harrassment versus touching someone, or in Franken’s case feigning to do so, I fear it could dilute the seriousness of the issue. This conflation of events and constant reporting of every allegation could desensitize us to the real problem of sexual assault that is particularly present on job sites and on military bases. It can also weaponize it. Want to take somebody down? Just find a 10 year old Facebook photo of an office Christmas party and circulate.
A giant diversion campaign is happening. It it goes on too much longer we will find ourselves in a hole that we have not seen since the Republicans created a economic debacle and blamed Jimmy Carter for it. This is their long game, set up explosives for the economy timed for when the Democrats get in and it blows up. Let’s stay focused. It should be the tax bill all the time. Let Mueller take care of Russia.
