How did popular vote loser Donald Trump spend Thanksgiving? In the bosom of his family, in quiet introspection about the things for which he's thankful? Of course not. Monsters don't do introspection. No, he was stewing and tweeting about Obamacare.
"ObamaCare premiums are going up, up, up, just as I have been predicting for two years. ObamaCare is OWNED by the Democrats, and it is a disaster," Trump tweeted.
"But do not worry. Even though the Dems want to Obstruct, we will Repeal & Replace right after Tax Cuts!"
This is getting rather disturbingly repetitive, because in 11 months in office, he hasn't learned how any of this works. No, Obamacare is not a disaster. Enrollments are going along quite well, despite his best efforts to sabotage them. Premiums are increasing, but in part because of his sabotage, some people are able to get plans for free, and many more for less than $50 a month in premiums. That might be why enrollments are running at record levels in this year's open enrollment.
And no matter how many times he yells it, Democrats aren't going to be blamed if Obamacare does go down the tubes. It's all his now. Oh, and repeal and replace wasn't stopped by Democrats. It was stopped by all the people raising hell and three Republicans in the Senate who listened to them. Republicans obstructed.
