Trump, a life-long captive of vanity and greed, never stood a chance …
How Putin's KGB background has helped him manipulate Trump — according to an investigative reporter

For Putin, lying is something he does all the time and there's nothing shameful about it. He views lying as a kind of operational tactic, and again it's something he learned about at spy school. You lie for strategic reasons.
But what's astonishing is that Donald Trump seemingly believes Vladimir Putin, the KGB officer, over all 13 US intelligence agencies who unanimously say that Russia hacked the election.
Now, I'm not a psychologist, I can't explain what's going on in Donald Trump's head, but clearly Putin is lying and for Trump to believe him or at least to say he believes him is an astonishing sign of where we now are.
No matter how many toes has to step on, No matter how foolish it makes him look — Trump will NEVER say a harsh word about his ‘Mentor’, his ‘Sponsor’ … quite the opposite in fact.
Donald Trump shows President Putin — ALL the undeserved “deference” in the world …
Trump: Putin is "very insulted" by accusations of election meddling
President Trump on Air Force One, when asked by reporters on Air Force One whether he spoke with Vladimir Putin about Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election:
"He said he didn't meddle. He said he didn't meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. I just asked him again. He said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did... Every time he sees me he says, 'I didn't do that,' and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it. I think he is very insulted by it, which is not a good thing for our country."
Why it matters: U.S. intelligence agencies disagree with Putin, and have reached a broad consensus that Russia worked to meddle in the presidential election.

After graduating from Leningrad State University with a law degree in 1975, Putin began his career in the KGB as an intelligence officer. Stationed mainly in East Germany, he held that position until 1990, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Shortly afterward, Putin was appointed head of the Federal Security Service, an arm of the former KGB, as well as head of Yeltsin's Security Council. In August 1999, Yeltsin dismissed his prime minister, Sergey Stapashin, along with his cabinet, and promoted Putin in his place.
In December 1999, Boris Yeltsin resigned as president of Russia and appointed Putin acting president until official elections were held, and in March 2000, Putin was elected to his first term with 53 percent of the vote.
THIS is the guy, who when feigning “insult” — is “not a good thing for our country” …
at least according to the Stooge-in-Chief that the KGB Agent helped win “install”.
Then there was this little Donald-Doozey — talk about ‘handing the burglar the keys’ …
Trump: Meeting with Putin ‘tremendous’
President Trump on Saturday did not clarify details regarding his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin the previous day, saying only that it was “tremendous.”

"U.S. President Trump said that he heard firm assertions from Russian President Putin that it is not true and that Russian authorities have not meddled in the elections," [Russia’s Foreign Minister] Lavrov said. “[Trump] said that he accepts these assertions. That's it.”
Trump's talk of cybersecurity unit with Russia takes the spotlight
In a surprise move coming out of the G-20 meetings with the world's most powerful leaders, President Trump on Sunday shifted conversation from trade or healthcare or climate change — all key topics at the summit — to his proposed "Cyber Security unit," a joint operation with Russia focusing on cyberattacks.

Trump on Sunday tweeted that he talked with Putin during their meeting at the G-20 summit about forming an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit" to guard against issues such as election hacking.
IF by chance Trump is NOT Putin’s Pawn,
Then he must be the WORST fanboy who ever lived.
Because in case the Pawn has not yet noticed … Putin is NOT exactly impressed with his (lack of) follow-though on that “Lifting the Sanctions” bargain, that he once desperately, and foolishly, made.
