Politico just reported on a new poll that shows Randy Bryce within striking distance of Paul Ryan, even though 79 percent of likely voters in Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District still don't know enough about Randy to form an opinion of him.
But voters already have an opinion of Paul Ryan -- and it's not good (for him). Wisconsinites know Paul Ryan has changed and that he advances the goals of billionaires and special interests at the expense of regular, hard-working people. His tax plan is an example of that, and it's hugely unpopular with voters.
With Paul Ryan's unfavorability on the rise, our campaign has a clear path to victory. According to that poll, produced by Global Strategy Group, after reading short, positive introductory statements of both candidates, Randy Bryce defeats Paul Ryan, 50-40. Read the full polling memo, including both statements, attached below.
Chip in $3 or more to help build a grassroots campaign capable of telling Randy Bryce's story while also preparing for a massive wave of negative attacks from Paul Ryan and his deep-pocketed allies.
Let's win this thing.
Thank you,
Bill
