First, in case anyone thinks me some outside interloper, I have been an ardent supporter of the Democratic Party since President Carter.
But now I want you to change.
Now.
To my great sorrow, the Democratic Party just became the Third Party; you know — that Party that all liberals dread will come into existence, the Party that will take the votes away from what a majority of the voting citizenry would consider the legitimate party.
What party did they take the votes away from?
I don’t know. It doesn’t exist yet — but in four years, it probably will.
Not skipping a beat, immediately following the election of their DNC new chairman, off they go, howling for the removal of their opponent president by any means, colluding with the unelected servants of the deep state while hoping the public didn’t take notice of their own little adventure into foreign interference.
Tom Perez is the clearest affirmation possible that an unrepentant Democratic National Committee is in no mood to toy with introspection or own their disastrous defeat at the hands of a lunatic that is now the Nation’s President.
The defeat of Keith Ellison, who had the support of the moderate left-leaning side of the Democratic party who, if they knew, would find it of little concern to the millions of voters that turned their backs on on a party that would groom two virtually indistinguishable Party yes-men, chairman candidates who are both eager and willing to go full steam ahead with accruing the publicly unpopular Super-PAC’s, widely seen as a tool of the very rich in order to jump to the front of the line, ahead of the citizenry for perks. Big perks. Very big perks.
Amongst all the buttoned-up DNC chairman candidates vying for the position, only Samuel Ronan punched the reality-check button, visibly paining his fellow fidgeting candidates:
"Not only was the primary rigged, it was rigged all across the country because the DNC has never allowed outsiders or brand new people to rise through the ranks. It has always been an insider's game," he said Wednesday at a debate sponsored by CNN. "It has been that way for a very, very long time. That is where that lack of trust is coming into play."
The elite of the Democratic Party seem willfully oblivious that a complete outsider who ran for the Presidency as a Democrat, eschewed the Super-PAC’s, this distasteful means of gathering a war chest. Instead, instead depended of citizen donations averaging $23 dollars. That, despite the collusion of the DNC with their special groomed candidate, with an overwhelming war chest, were barely able to overcome what they deemed to be an unwanted, outside challenger.
So now, to the outrage of millions of voting citizenry, it is full steam ahead, business as usual. No doubt the attack plan for winning the Presidency in 2020 will depend on a “Nothing can be as awful as the present President. Vote of us” approach.
Perhaps they will even toy with the idea of pushing their previous shop-worn candidate upon the citizenry; “Isn’t she great?”
Well, that’s not going to work.
It’s not going to work so badly, that a broad spectrum of citizens are now casting around wondering, “Is that all there is?”
The vacuum that the DNC have created in their almost criminal ineptitude, their utter inability to see their Party through new eyes, makes a third party almost inevitable.
Four years is a long time.
Come that presidential election, will vast swaths of the voting public see the Democrats as a fading, interfering party taking rightful votes away from whatever political movement will spring out of its corpse?
