Donald Trump blamed the Constitution for his repeated failures in his first hundred days in office. He told Fox News that the Constitution is archaic and that the rule of law that has prevented his unconstitutional edicts from being implemented "is a bad thing for the country”. www.theguardian.com/...
In an interview with Fox News to mark the 100-day mark, he declared himself “disappointed” with congressional Republicans, despite his many “great relationships” with them.
He blamed the constitutional checks and balances built in to US governance. “It’s a very rough system,” he said. “It’s an archaic system … It’s really a bad thing for the country.”
Trump’s attorney general, Jeff Sessions, believes that America is a Christian nation. The first amendment, according to Jeff Sessions, prohibits favoring one Christian church over another Christian church, but does not prohibit the establishment of Christianity as the state religion. Of course, this is revisionist nonsense. Jefferson asserted the separation of church and state in 1802. www.politicususa.com/…
“I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.” Thomas Jefferson.
On the other hand, Steve Bannon, the writer of many of Trump’s failed executive orders, is a white nationalist who believes in using Leninist tactics to destroy America as we know it.
What all of Trump’s confederates have in common is the love of the southern plantation business model of dirt cheap black and brown labor, white privilege, authoritarian control, the nobility of the plantation owner, and disdain for the first Amendment. Of course, they all hate labor unions.
Thus, the Trump regime rejects the celebration of May day, the day of fertility festivals of traditional agricultural societies, and the day of celebration of the working class in industrial nations.
Trump, oblivious to irony, has revived "Loyalty Day” a relic of the cold war with Russia (the USSR). Yes, the administration that appointed Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort who have worked for Russia's ruler Vladmir Putin and his associates, have declared May 1 loyalty day. Donald Trump who implored the Russians to hack Hillary’s e-mails declared May 1 Loyalty Day. Donald Trump who said that following the Constitution is “a really a bad thing for the country”, declared May 1 Loyalty Day.
Even Fox News conservative commenters are slamming Trump. www.foxnews.com/...

Citizen, bow down to your federal master and show your loyalty... And while you are at it, you are going to recite that socialist written Pledge of Allegiance to the almighty state.
No thank you. I prefer freedom over forced admiration of the statists.
Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people. The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manners and of morals engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.
–James Madison, Political Observations, Apr. 20, 1795
Make no mistake, the Trump regime is a cabal of extremists who do not support and defend the constitution of the United States of America. They are bound together by the pursuit of wealth and power. Their core belief is white male supremacy. They intend to impose conservative white evangelical patriarchal rule on America. Their role model is Vladimir Putin. Everyone who loves the Bill of Rights and the rule of law as enshrined in the Constitution must unite to stop these seditious, corrupt, authoritarians.
