The quote (in the title) are the solemn and sworn words, of the most recent cast-away, fired off of the Donald’s OJT reality show The Apprentice President. The former FBI Director however had no “on-the-job hesitancy” in his words, unlike the clueless crew-boss who told him to “Get lost”. Without the courtesy of a meeting, a phone call, or a rationale and unchanging explanation.
Yet the buffoon Apprentice — even though he tried (and is still trying) — did not manage to strip his imaged “adversary” of his dignity (nor his patriotism), which was on display for all to see in these short exchange, before the Senate ...
Senate Intelligence Committee meeting, James Comey on Russia's interference in the 2016 election, June 8th 2017 (Transcript from politico.com )

[SEN. MARTIN ] HEINRICH: The president has repeatedly talked about the Russian investigation into the U.S. — or Russia's involvement in the U.S. Election cycle as a hoax and fake news. Can you talk a little bit about what you saw as FBI director and, obviously, only the parts that you can share in this setting that demonstrate how serious this action actually was and why there was an investigation in the first place?
[JAMES] COMEY: Yes, sir. There should be no fuzz on this whatsoever. The Russians interfered in our election during the 2016 cycle. They did with purpose. They did it with sophistication. They did it with overwhelming technical efforts. It was an active measures campaign driven from the top of that government. There is no fuzz on that. It is a high confidence judgment of the entire intelligence community and the members of this committee have seen the intelligence. It's not a close call. That happened. That's about as unfake as you can possibly get. It is very, very serious, which is why it's so refreshing to see a bipartisan focus on that. This is about America, not about a particular party.
HEINRICH: That is a hostile act by the Russian government against this country?
COMEY: Yes, sir.
HEINRICH: Did the president in any of those interactions that you've shared with us today ask you what you should be doing or what our government should be doing or the intelligence community to protect America against Russian interference in our election system?
COMEY: I don't recall a conversation like that.
HEINRICH: Never?
COMEY: No.
And the Un-curious Donald showed little interest in the Who, What, Where, How or Whys, behind the Putin’s active interference in our Election process. Trump’s vague interest in this Russian attack on America, abruptly stopped at who was leaking, and how credible their info had been — rather than what our pro-active plan should be, going forward ...
[SEN. JOE ] MANCHIN: Finally, did the president ever show any concern or interest or curiosity about what the Russians were doing?
COMEY: Thank you, senator. As I said earlier, I don't remember any conversations with the president about the Russia election interference.
MANCHIN: Did he ever ask you any questions concerning this?
COMEY: Well, there was an initial briefing of our findings. And I think there was conversation there I don't remember exactly where he asked what I found and what our sources were and what our confidence level was. The reason this is such a big deal. We have this big messy wonderful country where we fight with each other all the time. But nobody tells us what to think, what to fight about, what to vote for except other Americans. And that's wonderful and often painful.
But we're talking about a foreign government that using technical intrusion, lots of other methods tried to shape the way we think, we vote, we act. That is a big deal. And people need to recognize it. It's not about Republicans or Democrats. They're coming after America, which I hope we all love equally. They want to undermine our credibility in the face the world. They think that this great experiment of ours is a threat to them. So they're going to try to run it down and dirty it up as much as possible. That's what this is about and they will be back. Because we remain — as difficult as we can be with each other, we remain that shining city on the hill. And they don't like it.
MANCHIN: It's extremely important, extremely dangerous what we're dealing with and it's needed is what you're saying.
COMEY: Yes, sir.
Could it be, that instead of being hindered by ‘On-The-Job-Training’ (as posited by Paul Ryan) — could it be that this Putin-fanboy already knew what Russia was up to?
— Why else would Trump call for a Russian-reset in his 2016 Mayflower speech?
— Why else would Trump’s most trusted advisor, be seeking a back-channel line of communication inside of a Russian diplomatic facility?
— Why else would Trump’s most trusted National Security advisor, secretly tell the Russian diplomat ‘Just wait Mr. Trump will end the Sanctions’ — according to Kislyak’s own words themselves?
Could it be that Trump showed no interest in the Russian attack on our Democracy — to the point of flat out denying it ever happen — Could this complete lack of curiosity, be because Candidate Trump was already in-the-know about what his pal Putin was doing, in cyber-world behind the scenes?
If true, THAT is what the complete lack of dignity, (and lack of patriotism), looks like. It is not a good look.
Worse yet, it is potentially dangerous … very very dangerous. This is a big deal.
(Having a president with such divided loyalties … and little interest in correcting his own Apprentice-excused mistakes.)
