In what has to be either [Choose no more than two] (a) the biggest act of stupidity in US government history; OR (b) the most corrupt act ever taken by the US government against its own citizens, the White House — yes, the WHITE HOUSE, so brilliantly run by the Trump family of buffoons — today released a trove of emails it received from members of the public, who were complaining about the Election Integrity Voter Suppression Commission’s efforts to gain sensitive personal information on registered voters in every state.
Unfortunately for these voters and others who wrote in, the Trump administration did not redact any of their personal information from the emails before releasing them to the public. In some cases, the emails contain not only names, but email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers and places of employment of people worried about such information being made available to the public.
For example:
“This request is very concerning,” wrote one. “The federal government is attempting to get the name, address, birth date, political party, and social security number of every voter in the country.” That email, published by the White House, contained the sender's name and home address.
So I guess now there is a penalty for exercising one’s constitutional right to petition the government for redress of grievances. And the penalty is White House collusion in your identity theft. The Russian Mob sure is getting their money’s worth.
