The ratings for Megyn Kelly’s NBC News show Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly continue to decline, reaching a new low for her latest episode. Nielsen Research ratings say she attracted 3.1 million viewers—merely half the audience she had for the debut episode featuring an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Hill reports:
Kelly's Sunday program again lost to repeats of "60 Minutes" on CBS and "America's Funniest Home Videos" on ABC in both total viewers and the key 18-49 demographic advertisers covet most.
"60 Minutes" tallied 5.9 million viewers to win the 7 p.m. time slot.
Kelly's Sunday telecast still had the smallest gap with “60 Minutes” since June 18, with the repeat of the CBS news magazine seeing double-digit declines week-to-week, down 22 percent overall from the July 9 telecast.
Kelly’s show is on hiatus until after the Winter Olympics in February of 2018. Meanwhile, she’ll be hosting her own daily show in this fall during the third hour of The Today Show.
