The news of Beauregard Sessions having ‘substantial conversations’ with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak conveniently was "leaked” to the media right after Trumpbuffoon’s incoherent “spewing” to the New York Times about his regret in ‘hiring’ Sessions to be Attorney General because he’s not protecting Donald Trump from the Russia investigation. Of course everyone bit on this news, just like Trump planned. Does anyone not believe this ‘leak’ is what Putin and Trumpbuffoon discussed at their little G2 tete a tete? And this is the setup to laying groundwork for getting Sessions fired?
And this would be exactly why I suspect trump leaked it himself.
Relatively wet-noodle tweet like this sounds like it's designed just to make sure everyone Knows about it.
The only problem with this strategy is that Donald Trump is, in a word, stupid when it comes to politics. As Ana Marie Cox states:
The other problem with this brilliant strategy is that Trump was also seen with Kislyak at the Mayflower hotel.
In a short six months Trumpbuffoon has brought our country to a crisis of democracy (see the Josh Marshall diary). Go back and remember what we were talking about six months into Obama’s presidency, but today all the conversation is about collusion and conspiracy. What a waste! Today on the New Yorker Radio hour Maggie Haberman was interviewed about the “interview” she just did with Trump where she described his “management” style. She said normally the Chief of Staff is the gatekeeper to the President and it is impossible to get a meeting with him. Here, anyone can breeze in and out of Trump’s office, and they do, often interrupting briefings, and his “policy” is nonexistent. Basically he interacts with people. That is how he spends his days . It is so infuriating but at the same time I feel powerless and impotent while raging about it every day
You know things are F’ed up when we first hoped that Comey wouldn’t get fired, and now we’re in a position hoping that Sessions doesn’t get fired so that Mueller can then be fired
