Less than a week into his role as White House communications director, Anthony “Mooch” Scaramucci upped the White House’s already considerable “can you believe this?’ quotient with a vulgar, threatening interview with the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza. So what does the big boss man think of his new hire’s antics? Mike Allen reports:
The President likes people with backbone. And at the moment, Scaramucci is empowered: We're told the President loved the Mooch quotes.
As a reminder, Scaramucci said that the White House chief of staff is “a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.” He asked Lizza “as an American patriot,” to divulge the source of attendees at a dinner. He insisted that the release of a public document was “a felony.” He said of Trump’s chief adviser that “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock.”
And “We're told the President loved the Mooch quotes.” He loved it! But that comes with a warning from Allen:
But President Trump doesn't like being upstaged. "Mini-me" can't forget the "Mini" part. Being more Trump than Trump, in Trump's house, is a dangerous game.
Yeah, Scaramucci’s days are numbered—Trump will love him right up until Scaramucci does the fandango one too many times and Trump starts giving him the Sessions treatment.
