Lyft Driver Suffers Unprovoked Attack; Needs Help

Hi everyone. My name is Constance and I have been a Daily Kos member for a few years. I just rarely post comments. Yesterday, I heard about a Lyft driver named Tenicia Bennett who was attacked recently by two complete strangers. Tenicia claims that she was at a gas station, when a woman at the gas station got out of her car and attacked her for no reason. The driver of the car also attacked Tenicia. Tenicia claims that in addition to the attack, the two women also stole her rent money and cell phone. She has set up a gofundme page to help pay her rent.

I have donated $40.00 to Tenicia’s go fund me account. If anyone else would like to donate, I am sure that she would appreciate it. Tenicia is asking for $1,600 to replace the money that stolen. She is a single mother of an infant and she said that money was going towards her rent.
