"I'm A (White) Nationalist"
Blame it on my morbid curiosity – as we see reports of more and more bombs intercepted today, I wondered what the spin is on the other side.
I lurked Breitbart and scanned the comments. Predictably, MAGA-hatters have declared this is a “false flag” operation launched by “Democratic operatives” to gain support for the midterm elections.
Here’s a Daily Beast article covering the reaction from the RWNJs.
Minutes after news broke of “potential explosive devices” being mailed to the homes of former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, along with CNN’s New York City studio, the dark corners of the conservative Internet were declaring it a plot to gin up empathy for Democrats.
Cries that the bomb threats was merely a “false flag” operation were evident on Twitter and pro-Trump forums….

The article goes on to highlight tweets and on-air comments from Rush Limbaugh, actor James Woods, Michael Flynn, Jr. and QAnon – all declaring Democratic operatives sent these bombs to make the Republican party look bad and drive more progressives to the voting booth.
From The Wrap highlighting the ignorance of actor James Woods:
James Woods called the “potential explosive devices” intercepted in the mail to Hillary Clinton an “obvious political stunt.”
“Who gives a rat’s ass about the #Clintons enough to do this? Obvious political stunt …,” the actor tweeted Wednesday along with an AP tweet saying that a bomb was found at the home of Bill and Hillary Clinton in a New York City suburb.

The Hill gives special attention to prescription drug addict, Rush Limbaugh:
Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday questioned who was responsible for the explosive devices and suspicious packages sent to figures such as former President Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton.
"Republicans just don't do this kind of thing,"Limbaugh said during his radio show. ...
...Limbaugh added that "not one of these bombs went off," before wondering if "a Democrat operative's purpose here" was to make it appear like there "are mobs everywhere."

Also — thanks to Walter Einenkel’s reporting here — FOX wastes no time finding an “expert” pushing the same “Dems-Did-It” CT:
“It could be someone who is trying to get the Democratic vote out and incur sympathy.” Read Walter’s diary here: www.dailykos.com/...
Mind you, these aren’t bots — these are pro-trumpers tripping over themselves to ensure the spin is in. Notice how standardized their CT sounds?
