It turns out that Mike Pence's fake 'rabbi' is actually a fake, fake 'rabbi'

Well, this is awkward. It turns out that the not-Jewish “rabbi” that Vice President Mike Pence invited onstage to pray for the victims of the synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh—who invoked “Jesus the Savior”—isn’t even a fake rabbi. He’s a fake, fake rabbi:

Loren Jacobs, who was invited onstage by Vice President Mike Pence to speak at a rally in Michigan for a GOP congressional candidate, was defrocked 15 years ago, according to a spokeswoman for the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations.

“Loren Jacobs was stripped of his rabbinic ordination by the UMJC in 2003, after our judicial board found him guilty of libel,” Monique Brumbach said in an email.

Oh. Even the Christians-pretending-to-be-Jews-to-convert-Jews-to-Christianity don’t want this guy. But Mike Pence did.

Add this to long the list of outrages from this administration in the wake of the horrific killing of 11 congregants at the Tree of Life Synagogue. A mass murder inspired by the hate peddled by this very administration.
