Today Donald Trump blew off honoring the Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines who gave their lives during World War One, at Belleau Wood because some intermittent rain might have mussed up his hair.
All of the other heads of state did attend the ceremony including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has this to say at a previous ceremony last year:
"As we sit here in the rain, thinking how uncomfortable we must be these minutes as our suits get wet, and our hair gets wet...it's all the more fitting that we remember on that day in Dieppe the rain wasn't rain, it was bullets,"

You only get one opportunity to honor the US Marines on the day before the 100th anniversary of Armistice day, at the site of one of most famous battles in Marine Corps history, and on the day of the US Marine Corps were founded.
My Father was an officer and a Marine who fought in the Korean mountains during the bitterly cold winter. I have nothing but contempt for this lazy narcissistic bundle of resentments that has become our president, much to our nation’s disgrace.
