Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is probably a white supremacist. Maybe he would rather be called a white “nationalist,” but it is six of one, half a dozen of the other, in my opinion. The election coming up for King has been a considerably tougher one than one might have expected a year or two ago. But, with the swamp-turned-sewage in the White House enjoying the support of bigots like King, many people are feeling like they need someone less hateful and corrupt, someone who is at the very least competent, to represent them. The contentious race has also brought up a long-standing fact: that King is wildly racist, and promotes openly racist opinions and people.
The hyper focus on King’s awfulness has led to some big campaign donors, like Intel, publicly dropping their financial support for the candidate. It is a mostly superficial statement by these interests, as they have already given a lot of money to the Iowa representative; but publicly it is a blow that serious business interests do not find him as viable as maybe they once did. However, the move of big businesses to distance themselves from King is not due to some epiphany the executives at these companies just had; it’s that pressure from the public and the media has grown more powerful, shining a very bright light on the cockroach that is Rep. Steve King. Media Matters put together a rundown of some of King’s greatest racist hits. In it they take a trip down memory lane all the way to … earlier this year, when King tweeted this out.
The New Observer Online is a collection of racist and anti-Semitic “news” articles with headlines like:
- “Child Migrants” Linked to DC Murders
- Nonwhite Crime Apocalypse Envelops New York City
And not just in America. Here’s a recent story.
- Swedish Elections: 10% Nonwhite Voters Swung Election to Far Left
Notice how the math works in racism?
And as Media Matters points out, the New Observer Online has a penchant for headlines that could have been translated from old copies of Der Stürmer, the Nazi propaganda magazine.
There are all kinds of crazy-insane quotes from those articles, but here is one from an article entitled “Jews, Muslims Form Alliance against Trump”: “Jewish-Muslim cooperation against Europeans has a long historical record, most notably during the era of the white-slave trading Barbary States of North Africa.” King also promoted a story from this rag entitled “Afghanistan Bans Illegal Immigrants.” Innocuous enough, right?
Furthermore, it seems that when nonwhite nations take steps to close their borders and secure their nations, the controlled media in the West either ignores them or reports it without comment.
If, however, a white or European nation should dare impose restrictions on illegal immigration, the same controlled media would pillory them as “bigots” and “inhuman.”
Gaarrrooossssss.
King, who has always made fiery speeches about the terror of immigrants leading to the deterioration of America as an ethnostate, has been very cagey in the last couple of weeks, unlike Sen. Ted Cruz, who is going full-racist-dog-whistle these days. Hopefully that bodes well for Iowa’s chances of being liberated from one of its most hate-filled representatives on Nov. 6, 2018.
