Donald Trump will spend the day alternating between ego-stroking and seething, all in preparation for the temper tantrum to come. Or, as the White House described it:
“After 11 rallies in 8 states and weeks of campaigning for Republican candidates, the President will spend today making phone calls, monitoring Congressional, Senate and Gubernatorial races across the country and meeting with his political team for real-time updates,” press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. “Later this evening the President and First Lady have invited family and friends to join them in the residence as they watch election returns.”
Like I said: Making phone calls to the people who listen to him vent and/or get him worked up, monitoring races to line up his claims of how no Republican loss is his fault and any Republican win is to his credit, and generally stewing. Such leadership!
