Democrat Jennifer Wexton has unseated Rep. Barbara Comstock. Rep. Wexton promoted more serious gun safety, while Barbara Comstock continued to be one of the top ten NRA-funded House officials.

Comstock’s refusal to do anything about gun violence was compounded this election cycle by her cowardice in hiding from questions about gun violence. It’s an important win for people who are sick of gun manufacturers making public health decisions with their pocket books. I guess we should send our thoughts and prayers to Barbara Comstock?
