It's a slow cloudy day in the Florida Panhandle but there is always something new outside, something I may or might not see again.
And as soon as I posted this bit of daily obs and Bucket starter, Besame commented on their evacuation. Ongoing...
The Daily Bucket is a nature refuge where we amicably discuss animals, weather, climate, soil, plants, waters and note life’s patterns. We invite you to share in the comments what you see in your own part of the world.

No really, there is not much going on. The Yellow and Black Garden Spider took up residence on my porch. She ran the first few times but then I guess it figured I was not worth the effort. Amazing how hairy they are.
I think this is an Orchard Weaver but I don't often see the more colorful belly from underneath.
The extent of my garden as I wait for the winter greens to grow. It would help if the sun actually shined. Grey in the morning and gray in the eve doesn’t do much for me adjusting to Standard time either.
One of these bugs on the African Blue Basil, then another. Is 2 an infestation?
I pulled these all summer and now getting the last. Funny how many seeds Chamberbitter can produce right at the end of its cycle on a plant only an inch or 2. Thinking of you ForesterBob as you slide back to your Georgia home.
and finally, I thought this Thistle was gonna flower this year. Nope, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger basal leaves. At least 3 feet across altho a couple of the bottom leaves may be bigger.
Not much else of note in my backyard. How’s things in your world?
