For the past two years, I have aggressively researched the phenomenon which drives irrational arguments within the Republican Party. To be fair, the behavior has always been ingrained in the Party; however, the advent of Obama's candidacy in 2008 and subsequently his presidency in 2009 saw a pronounced spike in the behavior to a level which defies the most basic common sense.
Republicans argue the assessment is nonsensical and partisan driven; what else are they going to say? Take for example the birther's conspiracy (of which Donald Trump was the ringleader) which lasted for most of Obama's presidency; such stupidity was believed by 58% of the Republican constituents, promoted by the major Republican network Fox Opinion (known and referred to by most as Fox News). When Obama exited the Oval Office, 23% still believed the irrationality.
Similar examples have piled up to mountain heights; interestingly, one of the three major factors which seems to contribute towards the dumbification of the Republicans is IGNORANCE, details of which is provided here. The other two factors are "RACISM & LACK OF PATRIOTISM" which will be discussed in future articles.
