Donald Trump traveled to Ohio Monday on the taxpayer dime supposedly to sell the GOP's big tax law.
Gee, that seems a little harsh. Just because Trump accused Democrats of treason for not clapping during his epic State of the Union speech doesn’t make the entire speech political.
They would rather see Trump do badly, than our country do well—that’s what it means. It’s very selfish. And it got to a point where I really didn’t want to look too much during the speech over to that side because, honestly, it was bad energy. [...] They were like death. And un-American. Somebody said, ‘treasonous”—yeah, I guess, why not? Can we call that treason—why not?
Anyway, back to taxes ...
And hey, how about that Nunes memo?
"We caught them. It's so much fun."
Oh, okay, finally—>>Taxes!
Trump gave a highly political speech touting his tax law, and attacked Democrats like Sen. Sherrod Brown who voted against it: "Just remember that, he voted against you."
I mean, who could bring up taxes without naming Democrats who voted against Trump’s tax giveaway to the rich and wealthy corporations—why, it was practically “treasonous.”
Or in the words of someone who doesn’t have Trump’s dictatorial tendencies, Brown had a difference of opinion. But apparently that’s not allowed anymore now that Trump has become our overlord.
