The prosecution of #TrumpRussia has many moving parts and the WH desperation continues as Mueller continues to construct the mouse trap.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice is said to be close to completion, but he may set it aside while he finishes other key parts of his probe, such as possible collusion and the hacking of Democrats, according to current and former U.S. officials.
That’s because Mueller may calculate that if he tries to bring charges in the obstruction case -- the part that may hit closest to Trump personally -- witnesses may become less cooperative in other parts of the probe, or the president may move to shut it down altogether.

Other key matters under investigation by Mueller’s team, with its 17 career prosecutors, include whether Trump or any of his associates helped Russia meddle in the 2016 campaign. Mueller is also expected to indict some of those responsible for hacking the Democratic National Committee before the election and publicly leaking stolen material in an effort to hurt Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Just when you thought there could not be anything more desperate about Biglygate, President Dennison surprises us in a recent campaign speech that was, as usual, really more about him than the candidate he was there to support. Roy Moore redux.
Biglygate and #TrumpRussia are making him nervous as he considers “firing” his daughter and son-in-law from the WH, among other things… It reveals itself as he specifically chooses Clinton’s impeachment lawyer to add to his legal team with the additional piece of information that the same person was potentially a candidate to be associate AG.. Then again his speeches do tend include some of his preoccupations in his taunts...
Trump isn't the only top Republican who’s found Rick Saccone underwhelming. The widely-held view from Republican officials: Democrat Conor Lamb is a far superior candidate to Saccone and running a far better campaign.
The president made the argument that his supporters — in what both he and political observers are calling "Trump Country" — should vote for Republicans this year in order to prevent the top Democrat in the House, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., from regaining the speaker's gavel and possibly seeking to impeach him.
And to drive home the point about impeachment should Democrats take control of the House, Trump also targeted Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., a frequent and outspoken critic who has been calling for the president's ouster from office for months.
"Our new slogan ... is going to be ... Keep America Great, exclamation point," Trump said to cheers, "Keep America Great."
“a lot of funny moments”
"Many people, including myself, raised their kids to respect the office of the presidency and the president of the United States," Chuck Todd said to Steve Mnuchin. "When he uses vulgarity to talk about individuals, what are they supposed to tell their kids?"
Mnuchin tried to pivot to "what the president is doing to protect the United States," but Todd wasn't having it.
So "don't worry about his values, don't worry about him as a role model?"
"I've never said that whatsoever," Mnuchin said.
When the secretary said there were "a lot of funny moments at that rally," Todd responded with sarcasm, "Yes, they were hilarious."
And in the continuing Deripaska mistress news, apparently the FSB ordered the Thai police to arrest and deport her, but more interesting is that there could be some US interest in the information she claims to have:
Breaking: Pavlo Yunko, the American spokesman for Nastya Rybka (Deripaska’s mistress) and Alex Lesley (her associate) says that the United States has been negotiating with Thai authorities and that the deportation of Rybka and Lesley to Russia has been suspended.
