Hello everyone, as I’m sure some of you (I have no idea if anyone even reads this still so I might be talking to no one here haha) have noticed there are some links down below that were never there before about different states. That is my latest project: A complete downballot guide for every race where a Democrat is challenging and every race that has a vulnerable Democrat for all 50 states! 9 so far are complete and Iowa is currently being worked on. If you haven’t had a chance do check them out!
It’s a slow time period with no real elections until 12 days from now. A race that seems to be moving towards us and is coming up soon though is Danny O’Connor in OH-12. It’s the last chance to show Republicans what’s coming for them in November. If you have any spare cash or time please get involved, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has just bought ads, so they see opportunity here. Let’s give him a big push to the finish!
November is a long ways away, but there’s a ton of opportunities before then to flip seats in special elections. These seats are key to providing the bench for our future congresspeople, governors and Senators, so they are very important. With Washington gridlocked they also create policy for the vast majority of Americans and if we want Democratic priorities enacted we must elect people in state legislatures to do so!
So how can you get involved? Lots of easy and fun ways to help even if you’ve never participated before, now is a perfect time to start! You can send some cash (if you can afford to), spread the word on social media, write postcards and volunteer to make phone calls or knock doors. Every single action big or small makes a huge difference! It's up to us to make the dream of a blue country from coast to coast a reality. Let’s help elect these great Democrats!
As usual, the special elections calendar includes races for both houses of Congress and all state legislative chambers. For convenience, it includes mayoral (or equivalent) elections for major cities as well.
This calendar will be updated as new information arrives, so be sure to check back! If you've got news, suggestions, etc., please let us know! The calendar was created by Glenn Magus Harvey, Mattrek, and 1WestCoastLiberal. This list does not include races that don’t have Democrats running or have them running unopposed. For a list of every state race, including the ones with all Democratic or no Democratic candidates, check out our Comprehensive Special Elections List!

This is a jungle primary where all candidates from both parties compete for a 50% Majority. Because there is multiple candidates running it’s likely to go to a runoff. These are the two Democrats in the race.
