Get in bed with a Russian spy-network, wake up with the threat of legal indictments up the ying-yang ...

The special counsel is also examining the 2016 release by Wikileaks of damaging emails that were stolen – allegedly by Russian hackers – from the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Roger Stone, a strong champion of Trump, appeared to have some advance warning that Wikileaks had the emails before they were published, according to tweets he sent at the time.
Stone, who has known Trump since the late 1980s, acknowledged having communications with Assange through an intermediary. He later claimed the middleman was a journalist named Randy Credico, but Credico vigorously denied the allegation.

[Ted] Malloch said in a statement on Thursday – after he was released – that his role on the Trump campaign was informal and unpaid, that he had only met with Stone on three occasions and never alone, and that he knew nothing about Wikileaks and had never visited the Ecuadorian embassy.
Ted Malloch had better watch what he says about Roger Stone to the Special Counsel — or he could find himself on the receiving end of a veiled Stone threat, wrapped in an outburst, concealed by a character meltdown. Ala former Stone-associate, Sam Nunberg … (who just talked to Mueller) ...

Roger Stone claims he has 'perfectly legal back channel' to Julian Assange
by Alan Yuhas in Washington, The Guardian — 5 March 2017
[...]
During the campaign last August, Stone was recorded on video telling a group of Florida Republicans: “I actually have communicated with Assange.”
“I believe the next tranche of his documents pertain to the Clinton Foundation, but there’s no telling what the October surprise may be,” he said.
He then seemed to preview the WikiLeaks dump of Podesta emails, writing on Twitter: “Trust me, it will soon the Podesta’s time in the barrel.” [21 Aug 2016]
In October, he told a local CBS reporter about “a back-channel communication with Assange, because we have a good mutual friend”.
And just because you delete the “evidence” later Roger, doesn’t mean that Investigators can’t dig it out of the woodwork later, Dude. 21st century means and methods, and all that.
To security establishment, WikiLeaks' CIA dump is part of US-Russia battle
by Julian Borger in Washington, The Guardian — 7 March 2017
[...]
Roger Stone, a former Trump adviser, wrote on Saturday night that he had a “perfectly legal back channel” to WikiLeaks’ founder, Julian Assange. Stone then deleted the message.
In early January, the CIA, National Security Administration (NSA) and FBI assessed with “high confidence” that Russian military intelligence was behind the anonymous hackers Guccifer 2.0 and DCLeaks.com, which stole data from prominent Democrats and passed it on to WikiLeaks.
And just because Stone insists that his Russian contact “Guccifer 2.0” is an innocuous 3rd party — definitely NOT a Russian Asset — does not make it so — when the cold Truth is finally told.
For his part, [Roger] Stone cast aside any suggestion that he may have collaborated with the DNC hackers, Russian or not, telling Business Insider months ago that he first noticed on August 14, 2016 — after he'd written an article for Breitbart saying he thought Guccifer was "the real deal" — that a Twitter account that apparently belonged to Guccifer had been reinstated after a brief suspension.
"I wrote an article for Breitbart on August 5, 2016, in which I express my view that Guccifer 2.0 was not a Russian asset," Stone said in his statement for the House Intelligence Committee. "My only exchange with Guccifer 2.0 would begin on August 14, 2016, after my article appeared, and ran through September 9, 2016."
Screenshots of Stone's back-and-forth with Guccifer via Twitter direct messaging were first revealed by The Smoking Gun. Stone later shared them with Business Insider.
"Long after Grufficer's [sic] bit part in this drama, I did in fact have a short and innocuous Direct Message Exchange with Gruccifer 2.0," Stone said. He told The Smoking Gun that he thought the messages had been public.
The factual evidence now tells us that … Guccifer 2.0 was in actuality … (Uh-oh, comrade Stone.)
Hacker Guccifer 2.0 identified as Russian intelligence officer after failing to hide IP address: report
The hacker Guccifer 2.0, who claimed responsibility for providing WikiLeaks with the stolen Democratic National Committee emails, has been identified as an officer of Russia’s main intelligence directorate, or GRU, according to a new report.
[...]
[Roger] Stone, who posted screenshots of the exchange with Guccifer on his own website, wrote on August 14, 2016, “Delighted you are reinstated. F--k the State and their MSM lackeys.”
Stone shot down claims that he collaborated with Guccifer and wrote, “To reiterate, I myself had no contacts or communications with the Russian State, Russian Intelligence or anyone fronting for them or acting as intermediaries for them. None. Nada. Zilch.”
No wonder Roger Stone has recently become so New-York Tough-guy “unhinged” — with the previous testimony from Nunberg, and the latest pledged testimony from Ted Malloch, he knows that Mueller is closing in on him.
And Roger Stone also knows where that evidence trail ultimately leads (if he hopes to keep his dumb-ass out of Jail, that is) … (Hint: Roger Stone and The Donald go “way back” ...)
Trump confidant Roger Stone: 'Washington is in shock'
by Eames Yates and Brett LoGiurato, Business Insider — Jan. 31, 2017
Roger Stone has been Donald Trump's friend and confidant for roughly 40 years. Stone, who's also the author of The Making of the President 2016, discusses why he thinks Washington, D.C. is in shock and explains why he supports President Trump's travel ban on seven predominantly Muslim countries.
“Friends” don’t let other “Friends” turn state’s evidence — all ‘Coke-heads’ should know at least that one Rat-rule, right Roger?
