When the Steele dossier first came to light, it was viewed with wide skepticism, largely in part because of one particular eye-popping detail: Donald Trump had Russian prostitutes perform a perverted act in Moscow hotel room and the Russians had the tape. From the dossier (via Buzzfeed):
3. However, there are other aspects to TRUMP’s engagement with the Russian authorities. One which had borne fruit for them was to exploit TRUMP’s personal obsessions and sexual perversion in order to obtain suitable “kompromat” (compromising material) on him. According to Source D, where s/he had been present, Trump’s (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President and Mrs. OBAMA (whom he hated) had stayed at one of their official visits to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a ‘golden showers’ (urination) show in front of him. The hotel was known to be under FSB control with microphones and concealed cameras all in the main rooms to record anything they wanted to.
Trump friends and allies used this detail to widely discount the Steele dossier. It could not possibly be real, right? Welp, Mother Jones has an excellent report on how Donald Trump befriended the Russian billionaire and his son, including their night out at a Las Vegas restaurant and “raunchy” night club. After dinner, they reportedly enjoyed a show. Are you sitting down?
The Act was no ordinary nightclub. Since March, it had been the target of undercover surveillance by the Nevada Gaming Control Board and investigators for the club’s landlord—the Palazzo, which was owned by GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson—after complaints about its obscene performances. The club featured seminude women performing simulated sex acts of bestiality and grotesque sadomasochism—skits that a few months later would prompt a Nevada state judge to issue an injunction barring any more of its “lewd” and “offensive” performances. Among the club’s regular acts cited by the judge was one called “Hot for Teacher,” in which naked college girls simulate urinating on a professor. In another act, two women disrobe and then “one female stands over the other female and simulates urinating while the other female catches the urine in two wine glasses.” (The Act shut down after the judge’s ruling. There is no public record of which skits were performed the night Trump was present.)
As The Act’s scantily clad dancers gyrated in front of them late that night, Emin, Goldstone, Culpo, and the rest toasted Trump’s birthday. (He had turned 67 the day before.) Trump remained focused on Emin and their future partnership. “When it comes to doing business in Russia, it’s very hard to find people in there you can trust,” he told the young pop singer, according to Goldstone. “We’re going to have a great relationship.
Is this where Donald Trump got a taste for “golden showers”? I am cringing so hard that I even had to type that, but here we are. We know from the House Intelligence Committee testimony of Keith Schiller, Trump’s longtime bodyguard and confidante, that one of the men Trump was with in Vegas offered to send prostitutes to Trump’s hotel in Moscow. From NBC News:
After a business meeting before the Miss Universe Pageant in 2013, a Russian participant offered to "send five women" to Donald Trump's hotel room in Moscow, his longtime bodyguard told Congress this week, according to three sources who were present for the interview.
Two of the sources said the bodyguard, Keith Schiller, viewed the offer as a joke, and immediately responded, "We don't do that type of stuff."
The more we learn about Donald Trump, the more we understand he definitely does that “type of stuff.”
If Vladmir Putin and the Russians actually have video and audio from that night in a Moscow hotel room, is it any wonder they’ve been using it to control Trump? This week it was reported Putin and Russian officials personally veto'd Mitt Romney as Trump's pick for Secretary of State because in 2012 he called Russia "our No. 1 geopolitical foe." Donald Trump has refused to implement the sanctions against Russia that the U.S. House of Representatives voted for by a whopping 419-3, passing in the U.S. Senate with a vote of 98-2. It’s the most bipartisan action by Congress in recent history. And yet, Trump has not followed through on these sanctions, which would greatly harm Russia and Putin. Is Trump refusing to implement these sanctions because Putin has blackmail information on Trump? If so, Donald Trump’s presence in the White House is a crystal clear threat to the national security of all Americans.
I’d encourage everyone to read the excellent article at Mother Jones reporting the Vegas club trip and Trump's relationship to billionaire Russians.
