The original personal physician to popular vote loser Donald Trump—not the drunk "Candyman" prescription drug dispenser Ronny Jackson, the other "The Dude" one—says that Trump's personal bodyguard, a Trump Organization lawyer, and another "large man" showed up at his office in February 2017 in a "raid" that left him feeling "raped, frightened and sad." Their objective: seizing all of Trump's medical records.
The incident, which Dr. Harold Bornstein described as a "raid," took place two days after Bornstein told a newspaper that he had prescribed a hair growth medicine for the president for years. […]
"They must have been here for 25 or 30 minutes. It created a lot of chaos," Bornstein said, who described the incident as frightening. […]
Two days after the story ran, the men came to his office.
"I couldn't believe anybody was making a big deal out of a drug to grow his hair that seemed to be so important. And it certainly was not a breach of medical trust to tell somebody they take Propecia to grow their hair. What's the matter with that?"
Bornstein had been Trump's doctor for 35 years, he says, and apparently had no qualms about dashing off that letter during the campaign about Trump's "astonishingly excellent" health that would make him "unequivocally" the healthiest president ever. But if Bornstein was willing to talk about Trump's follicular deficiencies, he was also probably likely to spill the beans about Trump's actual height and weight, and who knows what else about the man's health. So the magic is gone now.
A framed 8x10 photo of Bornstein and Trump that had been hanging on the wall in the waiting room now lies flat under a stack of papers on the top shelf of Bornstein's bookshelf. Bornstein said the men asked him to take it off the wall.
Here's another fun tidbit from the story: "Bornstein said the original and only copy of Trump's charts, including lab reports under Trump's name as well as under the pseudonyms his office used for Trump, were taken." Gosh, what kind of lab tests would they be running for Trump under pseudonyms? I bet one of those fake names was "David Dennison."
