Good morning gardeners,
The rainy season is here. We are going to get drenched with heavy tropical rainfall over the next few days, up to 7 inches of is predicted. This is good news for the Everglades as it has been quite dry there, and some swamps have dried up. Along the coast, we have been getting regular rain that has kept my garden green, but with this moisture it will be lush. So I look forward to that. There are a few things I need to get done before the deluge, bulk needs to go to the curb for pickup on Monday so I will be in and out today.
I have a Photobucket account that has pictures in it which I never downloaded to this computer after I replaced it a few years back. Does anybody know how to download them to the PC? Photobucket is not allowing “save as” and the only way I have been able to save is via a thumbnail. What a pain. Any thoughts would be appreciated because there are some beauties in there that I would love to share with you all.
I unfortunately can’t grow these spectacular carnivorous plants (I tried and failed). Many are native to the pan-handle, about a days drive from here.
A friend has been sharing photos of the arrival of spring in Boston. The flowering trees have put on quite the display. I’m looking forward to seeing the emerging greenery from the northern gardeners today. I’m happy that you can finally get your hands in the dirt again. Enjoy your weekends.
