Actor, producer, writer and fearless activist Rob Reiner has been on Trump’s rump since the scamming former reality star and admitted sexual predator announced his illegitimate presidential run in 2015.
On Tuesday, news emerged—ABC was canceling its hit comeback series ‘Roseanne’ after the controversial actress/comedian Roseanne Barr made an incredibly disgusting double-racist comment on Twitter. The tweet was indirectly aimed at President Obama and blatantly aimed at former White House adviser and attorney Valerie Jarrett. (The tweet has since been deleted, but not before news groups around the country captured the quote via screenshots). Here is what Bar’s tweet stated.
“If muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj.”—Roseanne Barr
Ours later, ABC cancelled Barr’s show, stating:
Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”-ABC
Reiner applauded the network’s decision, and then added a challenge for Trump, who is a fan of Roseanne (you know...because Roseanne is a fan of Trump’s). To give an example, Trump personally called Barr to congratulate her on her sitcom’s successful debut. The show’s dialogue often splits right and left political views. Roseanne’s character, like her real self, loves Trump. So, the often-called #FakePresident has been enjoying a glimpse of racist support from a Hollywood star. But that’s all over now.
Here is Rob Reiner’s quote in text, followed by the original tweet.
“ABC has done the right thing. They’ve stood up against racism. It is our country’s original sin. But this is 2018 and it has no place in the hearts of decent people. Unfortunately our president has stoked these evil fires. If he doesn’t applaud ABC, he will continue to stoke evil”-Rob Reiner
Tweet:
Reiner has created a sort of ‘Catch 22’ challenge for Trump—a virtual damned if you do—damned if you don’t:
- If Trump condemns Roseanne Barr or applauds ABC, he’ll upset his racist, white supremacist, KKK and Nazi base.
- If Trump doesn’t condemn Barr’s disgusting comment or doesn’t applaud ABC, he’ll further allienat even more Americans.
What’s a ‘Racist in Chief’ to do?
Once again, thank you to Rob Reiner for being a strong and relentless voice for the Resistance—also known as the majority of Americans. Please keep it coming.
