Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who is presiding over Manafort’s criminal case in federal court in Washington, D.C., set the arraignment to coincide with a previously scheduled hearing over whether Manafort’s bail conditions should be revoked in light of the witness tampering accusations.
Manafort is currently under house arrest and required to wear GPS monitoring devices.
The indictment accuses Manafort, while being confined to his home, of conspiring with Kilimnik to influence two potential witnesses against Manafort between late February and April.

Manafort is scheduled to go on trial July 24 in Virginia federal court on a related set of charges. His trial in Washington federal court is scheduled to start in September.
So, if Paulie gets his ass put in jail, he’s only got less than six weeks there before his trial. My guess is he does the time without flipping. What say ye?
And as far as I can see, it is doubtful Manafort’s co-conspirator Konstantin Kilimnik will show up for his arraignment. He resides in Moscow and Russia has no extradition treaty with us.
It has been said by many that should they both be convicted, Trump’s eventual (inevitable?) pardon of Paul Manafort will be more difficult because he must then pardon Kilimnik as well. Pardoning a Russian close to Putin, while being investigated for conspiracy with Russia to fix the election will be a hard sell.
