Following the "Surrender Summit" in which popular vote loser Donald Trump took Vladmir Putin's side over the U.S. intelligence agencies over whether Russia interfered in the 2016 election, Speaker Paul Ryan decided to express his concern. In a statement in which he apparently wrote after having actually physically removing his teeth and spine, Ryan quietly disagrees with he who cannot be named. Seriously, Ryan refuses to say "Trump."
"There is no question that Russia interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world. That is not just the finding of the American intelligence community, but also the House Committee on Intelligence. The president must appreciate that Russia is not our ally. There is no moral equivalence between the United States and Russia, which remains hostile to our most basic values and ideals. The United States must be focused on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy."
So what are you going to do about it, Speaker Ryan? If you can't say the name "Trump," then you can't stand up to the man. Meanwhile, this is what you are allowing to happen in the House: an effort to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the guy overseeing the Mueller probe.
The waft of treason coming out of the White House threatens to totally engulf the House of Representatives, and that's the best Ryan can come up with.
