WYFP: Last-Minute Hiring Freeze Edition

I was THIS close to being offered a job through the November election.

Two different people within the organization said that they were planning to make me an offer (one said that to me; the other said that to one of my references).

Then they found out JUST BEFORE THEY HIRED ME that a hiring freeze was put in place for Michigan.

I'm tired of having my digital, writing, and communications talents go unrecognized and underutilized.

Oh, and guess who missed seeing Joseph Kennedy III at the Michigan Democratic Party fundraiser due to financial problems? This guy. I've also had to skip small-dollar fundraisers for people I know and respect who'd make SOLID pubic servants. So my troubles are hindering Democratic campaigns.

Anyway… What’s your effing problem???
