The pussy-grabber-in-chief strikes again. This time, it’s a vicious personal attack on Deborah Ramirez, the second woman to come forward alleging sexual misconduct by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. "The second accuser has nothing," Trump said.
"She admits that she was drunk. She admits that there are time lapses." It gets worse.
"[S]he was totally inebriated, and all messed up and she doesn’t know it was him … This is a con game being played by the Democrats," he added.
So much for this morning’s effort by the White House to look like it cares about women. They trotted out press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to make the rounds of morning shows Tuesday. Like, "See, here's a woman, one who says stuff on behalf of Trump. We like women."
Anyway, here's what she said regarding Ramirez’s potential testimony: "Certainly we would be open to that, and that process could take place on Thursday."
Sanders told Fox & Friends, "The president wants this process to come to a vote because that's what's supposed to happen in every single one of these instances where someone is nominated." [Cough, Merrick Garland, cough.] "They go before, they have a hearing, and then the senators vote on it.”
Trump doesn't need a hearing. The case is closed, as far as he's concerned. The only thing that matters about this nominee is that he'll be there, sitting on the highest court in the land, to save Trump's skin.
