Today here in St Thomas I was working to rehabilitate a Youth Academy at a site is set high in a hillside. From that vantage point I can see many blue tarps acting as the waterproofing for the roofs of many of the households, businesses, and community institutions below me.
There are also many leaning utility poles leaning the same direction in some neighborhoods. This recovery process is nowhere near complete. It will continue for an extended period. Unfortunately due to a technical glitch a Windows 10 update rendered my computer unable to upload any new photos.
I’ve been in St. Thomas for 18 days now of my three weeks here. After many of the workdays I’m pretty exhausted. But it’s all well worth it because of the still great need here in this community.
