One of the attorneys representing the first — and then the second — whistleblower tweeted early this morning:
This was a reply to George Stephanopoulos’s tweet announcing the existence of a confirmed second whistleblower. Thus it appears a distinction is being made here — it’s not just two whistleblowers anymore.
The Washington Post has now picked up the story:
It’s worth mentioning that at this point in the Nixon impeachment effort, support for impeachment was at 19%.
Support for Trump’s impeachment is now polling at 46%.
As I post this, more and more media outlets are breaking the “multiple whistleblowers” story.

As for Trump, rather than visiting his nearby golf course in Sterling, Virginia for a second day, he stayed at White House, where he tweeted and retweeted.
