“It’s the ultimate impeachable offense.” “Illogical and incoherent defenses.” George Conway on MSNBC
Mica Brzezinski showed clips of George Conway from yesterday this morning calling this a “rare TV appearance.”
When I first saw someone who looked more or less like George Conway on MSNBC I could hardly believe it was Kellyanne’s husband. It was only until the afternoon when Brian Williams reintroduced him as “George Conway, yes, that George Conway” did I realize it was, as he said, “that” George Conway.
I’ve written two stories about the Conway marriage, most recently on Oct. 6th and earlier in July. I combined them here.
Earlier in the MSNBC hearing coverage (see top photo) Conway sat at the end of the table. By the end he’d moved to the choice spot next to Nicolle Wallace.
George’s being on MSNBC hasn’t gone unnoticed on Twitter.
As I wrote this yesterday Conway was on MSNBC and apparently in the breaks he was busy retweeting.
Donald Trump has called George Conway who he says is often called Mr. Kellyanne Conway “a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”
I was surprised to see Dan Goldman, a familiar regular legal expert on MSNBC, as the counsel to the House Intelligence Committee for the Democrats, asked questions for 45 minutes (read more about him here)…
… but I was both surprised and delighted to see George Conway calling Trump, among other things, delusional, on MSNBC as they covered the first day of the public impeachment hearing.
As a former marriage counselor I have to wonder who much stress and tension there is in the Conway marriage because of the her sycophantic relationship with, and defense of, Trump. I dislike Kellyanne for her lying. I wouldn’t envy their marriage counselor. Most therapists are quite liberal politically. (Reference)
It would be a challenge for a therapist to help them without letting their political beliefs get in the way. Even so, I am sure there are highly qualified therapists in Washington who are used to working with couples who have political differences.
I doubt they are reading this, but my message to either of the Conways would be that before giving up on their marriage just because of politics I think they should find a good therapist.

Conway accused CNN of embarrassing itself by playing the remarks from frequent Trump critic George Conway, suggesting it was only doing so in a bid to drive ratings and make her look bad.
"It's the same stuff all the time. What you just quoted is said every day by other voices but you wanted to put it in my husband's voice because you think somehow that that will help your ratings or that you're really sticking it to Kellyanne Conway," she said after the clip was aired.
"Where is the shame, where is the introspection," Conway said.
Blitzer introduced the clip by saying that he wanted to focus on the substance of George Conway's remarks, but Kellyanne Conway said she believed that the only reason CNN was playing the clip and that MSNBC had brought George Conway to its network was because of their marriage.
