They did it. They really did it. This was the toughest vote they may ever have to take, the solemn vote to impeach a president and place him on the path to potential removal from office.
And it was an especially tough vote for those freshman Dems in districts which supported Trump in 2016. These members will be on the frontlines facing well-funded Republican attacks—millions of dollars of relentless, negative attacks.
