Former Senator Harry Reid hits Donald Trump where it hurts the narcissist the most. In an interview with CNN, Monday, Reid holds up his very contentious relationship with George W. Bush as an example of how terrible Trump is as “president.”
Harry Reid’s brilliant strategy here set off he narcissist-in-chief, who supposedly doesn’t have time to watch TV or networks he calls “fake news.” Yet he was definitely watching this interview.
Trump responded to Reid via Twitter, lying about his career—particularly the end of his career. Reid retired, but don’t tell the propaganda-spewing occupant in the White House that fact.
Reid’s interview is instructive. Keep Trump active, right up until Election Day 2020. If we keep Trump tweeting, speaking, doing rallies—it’s a daily reminder to voters that Trump has to go in 2020. Trump spouting off is easily the most effective 2020 political ad for change, and Democrats don’t have to pay a dime to air the ads.
Democrats won the House by the largest popular vote margin in history in 2018, and also won every statewide seat in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Who was tweeting and talking right up until Election Day 2018? Trump. So every time I see a tweet or a rambling incoherent interview, I cheer him on. Reid knows that keeping Trump active is an important strategy to win in 2020. Great job and thank you, Senator!
