Slowly, slowly, we do keep getting new images of Ultima Thule. Much more is still to come, but today NASA put out this short little reassembled video showing the snowman-shaped Kuiper Belt object from behind, 5,494 miles beyond it, as New Horizons had passed it by and was outbound. This is just 10 minutes after closest approach:

The totality of images so far has already shown us that Ultima Thule isn’t quite the snowman we thought it was:

But there was one other fun story yesterday: NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter found China’s Chang’e 4 lander over on the far side of the Moon and took some photos. In the first one, see if you can even find the arrows, but in the second one (zoomed way in) it’s more obvious:
