The 200 page book contains over 100 images and several pieces of original artwork. Plus each chapter ends with cocktails recipes from the period. The book is predominantly an anecdotal history of the region and it’s
century long battle with the federal government.
I talk a good deal about the odd politics of prohibition and the Parallels between that absurd era and the new debate about legalizing marijuana.
During all of my book events, people bring up the odd similarities between the two unnecessary wars of both drugs and Alcohol.
