I’ll make this quick and hope for all of your efforts to publicize this as much as possible.  We don’t have much time!

The hide-bound, AIPAC supported, Democratic establishment is terrified of being out-Israeled by the Republicans.  In response to Rep Omar’s comments, we (Democrats!) are planning on introducing a resolution that, while not calling her out by name, will serve to rebuke her Truth-to-Power remarks.  While perhaps not perfectly framed (‘dual allegiance’ has an unfortunate history), her comments serve an important purpose and are infinitely more acceptable than, for one of many instances, ‘$teyer”.

I just now emailed my Representative (Chris Pappas) asking him to resist the resolution.  I had previously tried to email Speaker Pelosi but it seems that all Representatives now limit receiving emails to only those people that are in the Representative’s zip-code(s).

So, I’m asking any of you that agree to email your own Rep as soon as possible.  The vote could potentially happen as soon as tomorrow.  A simple request to resist the resolution unless it includes rebukes for remarks that are homophobic, racist, anti-American, religiously intolerant, etc. would be fine.
