Here is a short birthday diary for Leonardo Da Vinci, born 567 years ago on April 15, 1452. The Italian inventor and painter is widely considered one of the most diversely talented individuals ever to have lived. Best known for his inventions and paintings, his field of contribution included sculpture, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. This year is also the 500th anniversary of this death - he died on May 2, 1519 at the age of 67.
Much is known and written about Da Vinci. We will simply use some images and tweets to highlight some of the important paintings and inventions of the Renaissance man.
