The police investigate a criminal. The chief writes a report based on the evidence. It goes to a prosecutor who reads the evidence and sends a report to the court saying the man is innocent, and he will not prosecute. He quotes part of one sentence to "prove" his point. When the judges ask to see the underlying report, the prosecutor refuses, instead claiming it would hurt police procedures if it was made public. Would you be okay if this had been John “The Teflon Don” Gotti, or John Wayne Gacy or Charles Manson or Dylann Roof ? Or would you demand to see the evidence he gave his "conclusions" on, as well as statements by the police? Is this a Republican or Democratic "issue"? Its a legal issue. Politics is secondary, or would you be happy if the above mentioned people had been freed based on a prosecutor's opinion? Show your evidence to the court and prove your conclusion or resign.
