Nothing to see here. As in yes we know which Voter Registration systems were hacked. And NO, we can’t tell you which, those were. It’s none of your Bee’s Wax.
Ron DeSantis ‘not allowed’ to disclose which two Florida counties were hacked by Russians
Gov. Ron DeSantis said two counties had their elections information accessed, but the hackers weren’t able to change or “manipulate” any data.

TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Ron DeSantis met with the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security last Friday to discuss the revelation in Robert Mueller’s report that “at least one” Florida county had its election information accessed by Russian hackers in 2016.
DeSantis told reporters Tuesday that he had been briefed on that breach — which he said actually happened in two counties in Florida — but that he couldn’t share which counties had been the target.
[...]
Just last month, DeSantis expressed outrage at the FBI for revealing the successful hacking attempt in Mueller’s report on Russian interference, rather than communicating directly with his office.

Nothing to see here either. It was “just a coincidence” that 100 local election officials were targeted with ‘system-tunneling’ emails — just days before the 2016 Election. Fug-get-about-it!
Russian military intelligence executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before last November’s presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept.
[...]
The report indicates that Russian hacking may have penetrated further into U.S. voting systems than was previously understood. It states unequivocally in its summary statement that it was Russian military intelligence, specifically the Russian General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate, or GRU, that conducted the cyber attacks described in the document:
Russian General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate actors … executed cyber espionage operations against a named U.S. company in August 2016, evidently to obtain information on elections-related software and hardware solutions. … The actors likely used data obtained from that operation to … launch a voter registration-themed spear-phishing campaign targeting U.S. local government organizations.
This NSA summary judgment is sharply at odds with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s denial last week that Russia had interfered in foreign elections: “We never engaged in that on a state level, and have no intention of doing so.” [...]
And even more Nothing happened here — those 21 compromised states were mostly Blues States anyways — SO what’s your f**king problem!?
by Cynthia McFadden, William M. Arkin, Kevin Monahan and Ken Dilanian, NBCNews — Feb. 28, 2018
The officials say systems in the seven states were compromised in a variety of ways, with some breaches more serious than others, from entry into state websites to penetration of actual voter registration databases.
[...]
[Michael] Daniel, who is now president of the Cyber Threat Alliance, an industry group, said it was the intention of the Obama administration to inform those states, "but clearly it didn't happen the way that we wanted it to."
He said he could not name the states because some of the assessment was based on classified information.
"This continued debate about whether or not the states were notified is actually distracting from the larger point, which is that we need to build the relationship between the federal government and state governments in the electoral area to improve cybersecurity," he said
[...]
According to classified intelligence documents, the intelligence community defines compromised as actual "entry" into election websites, voter registration systems and voter look-up systems.
NBC News reached out to all seven states that were compromised, as well as 14 additional states that DHS says were probed during the 2016 election.
Meanwhile, back on the Putin-Butt-Kissing Ranch, the official word is: ‘There is nothing to see here, Nothing at all.’ ...
When Kirstjen Nielsen was the secretary of Homeland Security, she reportedly wanted to warn the White House about Russian interference in the 2020 election, but chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told her not to bring it up to President Donald Trump.
According to a report from The New York Times, Mulvaney made it clear to Nielsen that the president still believes any discussion about Russia's election interference undermines his 2016 election victory.
[...]
Nielsen reportedly eventually gave up on her effort to organize a meeting of cabinet secretaries at the White House to come up with a strategy protect the 2020 election.

Never-mind. Mustn't make the “Strongman” mad; nor the “Strongman Mentor” either.

This weren’t nothing, so don’t give it no never-mind ...
At least 21 states were the focus on these hacking attempts, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington, as confirmed by the Associated Press and the states themselves. States like Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin are among the swing states considered critical to an electoral college victory last year.
