Ever the stereotypical ugly American tourist, Donald Trump arrived in London and immediately began complaining about what he found there. In this case, though, it was one of the same things he complains about while in the U.S.: CNN.
“Just arrived in the United Kingdom,” Trump tweeted. “The only problem is that @CNN is the primary source of news available from the U.S. After watching it for a short while, I turned it off. All negative & so much Fake News, very bad for U.S. Big ratings drop. Why doesn’t owner @ATT do something?”
Awww, is someone missing Fox News? Jonesing for his Fox & Friends hit?
”I believe that if people stoped [sic] using or subscribing to @ATT, they would be forced to make big changes at @CNN, which is dying in the ratings anyway,” Trump continued. “It is so unfair with such bad, Fake News! Why wouldn’t they act. When the World watches @CNN, it gets a false picture of USA. Sad!”
Did the president of the United States just land in a foreign country and immediately call for a boycott of an American company? Is that really what happened there? (Yes.)
“Sad!” might be Trump’s tagline, but he’s pathetic.
