If you’ve been in a coma for the past few days while Trump was (supposed to be) commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day, here’s a summary from the Washington Post of what happened when he delayed the opening ceremony for 14 minutes so he could do an interview:
President Trump attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in an interview that aired Thursday night as “a nasty, vindictive, horrible person” in his first public comments since reports that she told colleagues she would like to see him in prison rather than impeached.
“I think she’s a disgrace,” Trump said on Fox News. “I actually don’t think she’s a talented person. I’ve tried to be nice to her because I would have liked to have gotten some deals done. She’s incapable of doing deals. She’s a nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”
The interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham was conducted at the site of a solemn ceremony in France commemorating the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion. Against the backdrop of a cemetery where nearly 10,000 American war dead are buried, Trump also called Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) a “jerk” and former special counsel Robert S. Mueller III a “fool.”
It has been noted repeatedly, at least on MSNBC, that compounding the egregious politicising of an apolitical and profoundly solemn event is the fact that Robert Mueller is a combat veteran. Was Mueller a fool for not getting out of the draft by faking bone spurs? Was he a fool because he earned the Bronze Star with "V" device for combat valor for rescuing a wounded Marine under enemy fire during an ambush in which he saw half of his platoon become casualties or was shot wound in the thigh, recovered, and then returned to lead his platoon? Wiki
Of course this shouldn’t matter since what Trump did would be unforgivable regardless of Mueller’s military service.
I couldn’t think of anything particularly new to write to express my thoughts and feelings about Trump’s sadistic malignant narcissism (read my Mar. 16, 2019 diary)...
Wikipedia explains that “a notable difference between “narcissists” and “malignant narcissists” is the “feature of sadism, or the gratuitous enjoyment of the pain of others. A narcissist will deliberately damage other people in pursuit of their own selfish desires, but may regret and will in some circumstances show remorse for doing so, while a malignant narcissist will harm others and enjoy doing so, showing little empathy or regret for the damage they have caused.”
Malignant is one of the most frightening words many of us have ever heard. It usually refers to cancer which has spread and may be life-threatening. When the preface malignant is applied to the word narcissism it describes Donald Trump.
… so I made this photoshop.
We have just seen this evil sickness played out of the world stage.

Trumps brutally mocked for pretending to be America’s royal family on state visit with Queen
On Friday, liberal author Molly Jong-Fast excoriated the attempt by President Donald Trump’s children to behave like a family dynasty in an article for The Bulwark, a Trump-skeptic conservative publication.
“We should have known that the president who made up a fake coat of arms would be all too happy to bring along his four adult children to hobnob with what he considers to be their British counterparts,” wrote Jong-Fast. “But as royal families go, the Trumps aren’t the Windsors. Or the Bushes. Or the Kennedys. Or the Kardashians, even. The Trumps are more like the Habsburgs” — the old Austrian imperial family infamous for centuries of inbreeding.
Jong-Fast noted that Trump’s decision to bring along Ivanka, Donald Jr., Eric, and Tiffany reflects his obsession with “brands” — and his desire that he become something like royalty in America.
