These tweets are as puerile as they are hackneyed and self-aggrandising. For example his tweet about Theresa May and
The wacky Ambassador that the U.K. foisted upon the United States is not someone we are thrilled with, a very stupid guy. He should speak to his country, and Prime Minister May, about their failed Brexit negotiation, and not be upset with my criticism of how badly it was.. ...handled. I told @theresa_may how to do that deal, but she went her own foolish way-was unable to get it done. A disaster! I don’t know the Ambassador but have been told he is a pompous fool. Tell him the USA now has the best Economy & Military anywhere in the World, by far… ....and they are both only getting bigger, better and stronger.....Thank you, Mr. President!
Just saying: On MSNBC we’ve been told the answer to “how do you know Trump is lying is when he says “I’ve been told.” Nobody told Sir Kim Darroch is a pompous fool. Plus Trump should be excoriated for saying he doesn’t know the ambassador from the United Kingdom. Though not in his tweet this article reported that he also said ““I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well thought of within the U.S.,” which is another bald faced lie. Although not a household name in the United States I rather doubt that those who are familiar with him would describe him this way.
As some of you know that in other Kos stories I’ve referred to Trump as malignant narcissist and I think it pays to give the definition again in light of these tweets. It is described as “s a psychological syndrome comprising an extreme mix of narcissism, antisocial behavior, aggression, and sadism. Grandiose, and always ready to raise hostility levels, the malignant narcissist undermines families and organizations in which they are involved, and dehumanizes the people with whom they associate.” (Wikipedia)
If anybody can find one of these characteristics that doesn't apply to Trump I’d like to hear from them.
Trump has been called puerile before, however I don’t see the alliteration Puerile President and even if it has been used before, and for sure I don’t think it has become a meme. I propose that those of you who tweet use other social media begin to refer to Trump's as the Puerile President.
The word puerile certainly fits: childishly silly and immature, late 16th century (in the sense ‘like a boy’): from French puéril or Latinpuerilis, from puer ‘boy’.)
The Trump Baby Balloon of a diapered Trump having an angry tantrum has become a glorious effective pictorial Internet meme and inspiring rally symbol.
An Internet search only turned up a story referring to Trump as a puerile president. It is in a local Ithica (NY) paper which has a terrific alteration, A puerile president's punchless prose. This is a small point but I wanted to make this story complete. I think a good Internal meme usually should only be two words.
Bottom line: Puerile President should become an Internet meme.
