Republican Doug Collins giving his opening remarks. Collins immediately starts off with lies, saying that the report concluded that the report showed no one “colluded” with Russia — which it did not. Then Collins defends Trump’s actions, because apparently it’s okay to obstruct if you don’t like the investigation.
And then Collins spends a lot of time attacking the investigation. But his riff on the investigation was both semi-incomprehensible and at odds with his own claims that the investigation gave a definitive answer.
The best news so far is that Collins opening statement is an absolute muddle, including a “side note” that included how he hates being away from his kids. Yada yada.
