Donnie Bolena had big plans to challenge Rep. Lucy McBath in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District. He’s setting those aside after Georgia Republican officials reached out to him to ask him to drop out of the race, he says.
In all started after the El Paso shooting, when a racist Trump supporter killed 22 people and injured 24 more in a Walmart. It was widely reported that the shooter told investigators his intent was to kill as many Mexicans as possible, and apparently the media’s reporting on those facts upset Bolena, who took to his Facebook page to announce that he was "a proud white nationalist." He told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he was just so dang mad at the media, he couldn’t help himself!
“I said I was a proud white nationalist. Due to the shootings that happened in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, I was very aggravated and very mad at the way the liberal media comes after conservatives. It comes after our Second Amendment,” he said.
Bolena also claimed that his account had been hacked and alluded to a woman claiming she had “filthy” messages from Bolena. He repeatedly mentioned that CNN had contacted him and was about to break a big story on him. In the video below, he says that CNN is targeting him because he’s a Republican and that it had contacted his staff to let them know some kind of bombshell about Bolena would be dropping soon. Thus far, CNN has published no big bombshell. It is strange that this hacking only affected these messages to one woman. Very strange indeed.
What’s next for Bolena? He’s publicly launched a new party called the “Ultra Conservative Party.” The Bolena revolution is now taking place in a private Facebook group. So much for the big tent of yesteryear.
Humorously, after Bolena boasted that he was a “proud white nationalist,” he’s now railing against every news outlet around for reporting on his own words.
How does one twist “proud white nationalist” into another meaning?
Below, you can see Donnie Bolena’s 22-minute-long video announcing he’s leaving the race. Personally, I could only get about five minutes in before I realized life is way, way too short to spend another minute on this guy.
