In aftermath of mass shootings, Donald Trump blames media, suggests immigration-related gun reform

With the nation still reeling from two mass shootings in less than 24 hours, in one of which the killer echoed Donald Trump’s white nationalist language of anti-Latino hate, Trump took to Twitter to blame the media:

The Media has a big responsibility to life and safety in our Country. Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years. News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased, or these terrible problems will only get worse!

… and to suggest that it’s time for gun reform that’s tied to—you guessed it—immigration reform.

So, the Racist in Chief, who consistently promotes racism and violence, is blaming the media for quoting him, and thinks that legislation that helps promote the manifesto of one of this weekend’s mass killers would be a good idea?
