Today, Napolitano said this:
Napolitano: House Dems should reopen the impeachment case citing new evidence
by David Montanaro | Fox News — Jan 6, 2020
House Democrats should reopen the impeachment proceedings against President Trump citing new evidence, rather than continue delaying sending the articles to the GOP-controlled Senate, Judge Andrew Napolitano [a Fox News senior judicial analyst,] said Monday.
“If I were a Democrat in the House, I would be moving to reopen the impeachment on the basis of newly acquired evidence, which are these new emails of people getting instructions directly from the president to hold up on the sending of the funds. That would justify holding onto the articles of impeachment, because there’s new evidence and perhaps new articles,” Napolitano argued on "America’s Newsroom" Monday morning.

Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano says Trump's Ukraine call was both criminal and impeachable
by William Cummings, USA TODAY — Oct 3, 2019
Fox News' senior judicial analyst, Andrew Napolitano, said Thursday that the summary released by the White House of a July 25 phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky demonstrates "both criminal and impeachable behavior" by Trump.

Maybe there is one honest analyst still employed at Fox News.
Or maybe there’s some reverse back-flip behind this legal advice, that the former Judge somehow hopes to trick the Dems into doing the ‘right thing’ for the sake of protecting the Constitution. And for the sake of preventing future lawless presidencies in America.
In any case, I wouldn’t be expecting Fox to renew Napolitano’s contract, when it’s up for renewal — not with critical assessments of Trump he’s been expounding. On Trump TVee, no less.

Let’s not forget this building undercurrent:
A poll released Tuesday by ABC News and The Washington Post found that about 7 in 10 Americans think the administration officials should be able to testify. In an example of bipartisan agreement, 79% of Democrats, 64% of Republicans and 72% of independents agree that Trump should allow them to appear in a Senate trial in the likely event that the House votes to impeach him.
